Bonde Sokkegarn 1 is a 1-ply yarn spun from Norwegian wool. To make the yarn extra durable, it is reinforced with nylon (20%). Bonde yarn is traditionally used for reinforcement thread in the heel and toe when knitting socks. The yarn is also suitable for airy blankets in garter stitch or simple garments. Just the 1-ply yarn is more likely to twist in the garment, so it is recomended to use together with another yarn or knit double. The yarn is not superwash-treated. Hand wash with wool friendly detergent is recommended.
