Opal nach Hundertwasser socks yarn is a classic 4-ply blend of 75% pure new wool (a mixture of German and South American wool) and 25% polyamide, which makes the yarn particularly durable. Opal yarn is very soft to the skin and has good absorbent qualities. It is not felting and machine washable at 40 °C thanks to Superwash finish. One ball is enough to make a pair of socks or a small scarf.
